Having been referred to Smart by HIK Vision, RIU Plaza Hotel in Victoria have entrusted Smart to expand their CCTV system throughout their newly refurbished hotel, utilising the latest High Definition AcuSense ColourView cameras and analytics.

This unique surfing paradise outside Bristol is one of only a few in the world of inland surfing centres and Smart have been chosen to support the security systems throughout the site. CCTV is throughout the surfing centre, as well as the boundary and campsite facilities, with a new solar park presently being completed.

Through competitive tender and technical appraisals, the team at Smart have been selected to design and provide a new CCTV control room and initial phase 1 for the seaside town.

Comprising of over 65 High Definition IP PTZ Cameras, Smart will be supporting the scheme and providing improvements and enhancements across the City

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is an endurance race across one of the world’s most dangerous oceans. We will be enduring; sleep deprivation, dehydration, huge calorie deficits, hallucinations, salt sores, 60ft waves and physical and mental exhaustion as we navigate one of the busiest shipping zones in the world.

At least 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Floating plastic debris are currently the most abundant items of marine litter. Waste plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. Plastic has been detected on shorelines of all the continents, with more plastic materials found near popular tourist destinations and densely populated areas.

​We are using the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge as a global platform to raise awareness of plastics in the Ocean, and promoting the oustanding work in this field currently being undertaken by the University of Portsmouth’s Centre for Enzyme Innovation, who are spearheading a potential solution to the global plastic pollution problem.

In December 2022, we will embark on the challenge of a lifetime. Propelling ourselves 3,000 nautical miles unaided from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean – The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

Pitting ourselves against the elements, our four person team will be rowing on and off in 2 hours stints constantly for an average of 49 days, pushing our mental and physical limits – to raise awareness of Ocean Pollution.

We are using the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge as a global platform to raise awareness of plastics in the Ocean, and promoting the oustanding work in this field currently being undertaken by the University of Portsmouth’s Centre for Enzyme Innovation, who are spearheading a potential solution to the global plastic pollution problem.

Smart have been employed by one of the leading transport signalling providers Siemens to develop and install new fibre  infrastructure to provide signal control test benches for their latest projects.

Smart Integrated Solutions proudly win Major CCTV Scheme for the Wiltshire Towns of Warminster & Westbury, as well as The West Wilts Trading Estate. The team are currently working with the town councils and estate managers upgrading the towns and estate with the latest high definition CCTV equipment, run via a dedicated intelligent Video Management Platform by Veracity.

After a successful tender and presentation, Smart have proudly worked with The Acorn Education Trust team to provide a new 80 camera high resolution CCTV system across the school. It also utilises their latest TademVu PTZ cameras, which can continue viewing a 180' Panoramic image, whilst also Pan & Tilting into a subject simultaneously. 

Smart Integrated Solutions are proud to have recently completed a new Integrated Security Solution for the new SW LEP Cyber Centre in Wiltshire. Combining Smarts latest high definition CCTV, as well as Access Control and Intruder protection, the project is a fantastic example of the disciplines working alongside and integrated.

​As the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic changes the world, in particular as someone can be a carrier without showing symptoms, being able to quickly screen and detect a person high temperature and limit the number od person present in an area is now more important than ever.
When the UK Government decides to loosen the current lockdown restrict, it will be of high importance that there are detection systems in place to ensure the disease can be identified. This will be especially vital in buildings and areas where a high number of the general public are.
Installing Thermal imaging cameras that have been designed to translate heat into visible light to analyse surroundings. These cameras have the ability to aid Fever Screening by detecting raised body temperatures within only one second, in large groups of people and with accuracy up to ±0.3℃.
